Comprising over 500 acres, Edgemont Highlands is located approximately five miles from downtown Durango. Formerly the summer grazing area for an old Durango cattle ranch, the property features a gently sloping lower meadow, rocky outcroppings, secluded draws and rugged upper benches. The varied and rich terrain supports extensive stands of ponderosa pines, gambel oak and more than 150 native plant species. Only minutes from city shops and restaurants, Edgemont Highlands offers Colorado mountain living with a distinct feeling of privacy with almost 40% open space. The varied and forested terrain imparts both a sense of quiet sanctuary and an ongoing invitation to step outside and share in the natural wonder.
